About Me
My passion for people and learning new skills has continuously driven me to expand my knowledge, experience and relationships. My desire to understand the behaviours and connections that define the human experience led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After graduation, my foundation of knowledge and interpersonal skills allowed me to enter my first career as a behavioural specialist. For years I dedicated myself to building authentic relationships with students and teachers who trusted my creative approaches to behaviour management in the classroom. From this career my passion for teaching was born!

Family
Outside of the classroom people call me Mom! My wonderful husband and I have 3 spirited, smart and kind children who keep us on our toes with their creativity and active lifestyle.
Creativity
I learned to knit and crochet shortly after my second child was born. Over time my hobby grew into a small business. I am proud that many people in Medicine Hat and around the world wear items that I have made.
Books
I love to read but what I love most is sharing great books with children. Last year my own children checked out 1317 books from our public library... we read every single one!!
